In our latest project, we had the opportunity to enhance the alfresco dining area of The Last Local, a renowned pub in Perth’s eastern suburbs, celebrated for its amazing steak sandwiches. We aimed to merge durability with style, crucial for outdoor settings. To achieve this, we selected compact laminate for the dining surfaces, valued for its resilience against the Australian climate and its modern, sophisticated look. We complemented these with picnic-style tables, blending functionality with a welcoming ambiance. The seating solution involved sturdy polypropylene chairs, known for their durability and low maintenance, perfectly suited for the bustling outdoor environment of The Last Local. By making these strategic material and design choices, we successfully revamped the outdoor area, aligning it with the family-friendly and culinary reputation of the pub, ensuring patrons enjoy their famed steak sandwiches in a memorable setting.
