Captain Stool

Description

Crafted by Paged Meble in Poland, the Captain family embodies a sophisticated retro aesthetic in its furniture design. The manufacturing process involves the utilization of 19th-century beechwood steam- and pressure-bending technology, reminiscent of the illustrious era of the Thonet-Mundus brand. Notably, Paged Meble’s Jasienica plant was a part of Thonet-Mundus during the early 20th century. The Captain collection is distinguished by captivating details, seen as azure-colored “incisions” in the seat and backrest connecting components. These elements give rise to a unique form reminiscent of an unfurled hand fan, bestowing the furniture with an air of grace and weightlessness.
