At LaBrooy Collections® we travelled to Milan this year to experience Salone del Mobile 2025 the world's most influential furniture fair. We explored new ideas with trusted suppliers like Colos and Sedja while discovering the exciting work of brands like Slide with their Rebourn collection and ecoBirdy, a company leading the charge in sustainable design.
Commercial Furniture Must Be Built to Last
For cafes restaurants and hotel venues commercial furniture must be tough easy to maintain and visually appealing. That’s why we were drawn to exhibitors with a clear commitment to durability and design balance.
Our selections focused on
- Metal framed chairs and stools
- Wipe clean tabletops and upholstery
- Lightweight options that suit busy floorplans
Standout Trends
The mood in Milan reflected calm strength and sustainable thinking. Trending colours included clay earth navy mustard green and pastel coral. Furniture shapes moved toward soft curves and retro silhouettes with a nod to comfort and versatility.
Two exciting discoveries
- Slide’s Rebourn collection a standout for commercial venues with its sculptural forms and modern energy
- ecoBirdy turning recycled plastic into statement furniture with a conscience
Beyond the Fair
After a packed schedule of supplier meetings we spent a few hours soaking in the heart of Milan. From walking through the Duomo di Milano to shopping the design streets of Brera it was a trip filled with creativity and culture.
We couldn’t leave without a visit to Luini Panzerotti a Milanese institution just behind the cathedral serving warm filled pastries to locals and visitors alike.
